The Best Inflatable Bed.

The Best Inflatable Bed. Review

This inflatable queen-size bed earned The Best rating from the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute because it was the most comfortable and inflates in only 2 1/2 minutes. The dual chamber bed uses a combination of inflatable I-beams and coil beams surrounded by air cells to provide support and cushion pressure points, leading panelists to say, "it felt the most like a mattress" and it was "firm yet soft." Other beds were described as "too firm" or "wobbly," and some beds were so unstable that panelists felt like they were going to "fall off." Unlike lesser beds with deep, uncomfortable crevices, The Best Inflatable Bed's surface has subtle seams. The Best model sits 20" above the floor--eight inches higher than a competing bed--allowing panelists to get in and out easily. The Best model lost only 4.1% of its air after seven days, while others deflated by as much as 15.6%. With a built-in pump and a storage bag. Folds to 18 1/2" W x 20 1/2" L x 8 1/2" D for storage. Set up: 80" L x 60" W x 20" H. (32 1/4 lbs.)
